Play Therapy
The Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA) website is designed to support "children", parents, and professionals involved in the field of Play Therapy. We are a new association with a great passion for children and committment to professionals involved in the industry. Our committee members and support staff are based in the Australasian region with our head office located in the Northern Territory (Australia); the "Gateway to Asia". We have committee members and support staff situated in most Australian States, as well as locations in New Zealand and Malaysia.
Play Therapy in the Australasian and Pacific region has come a long way over the past 5 to 10 years. Parents and therapists are becoming increasingly aware of using Play Therapy for children, and want to know more about the methods and availability. This website will provide information, resources and support for parents and therapists alike. Our association is committed to providing the public with information and support for Play Therapy in an informative and helpful way.
