Want to study Play Therapy
Play Therapy Day
Play Therapy Day is celebrated on the 1st of July annually.
The 1st Annual Play Therapy Day was on July 1, 2010.
Play Therapy day is about providing an awareness to the general public and of course other professionals who might utilise or require the services of a Play Therapist. Play Therapy Day began in 2010 with many APPTA members and other supportive Play Therapists spending the day handing out information about Play Therapy in many of Australia's states and Territories.
Some members had open days at their Play Rooms and some handed out balloons to the general public at their local shopping centres. It is hoped that as the years go by we will be able to create more awareness about the positive affects of Play Therapy.
